About Me

30 Years Behind the Chair: A Hairdressing Journey!
For three decades, I have dedicated my life to the artistry and craft of hairdressing, transforming locks and lives with each snip, style, and colour. My journey is a testament to passion, creativity, and the power of self-expression through hair.
 
The Early Beginnings
I discovered my love for hairdressing at a young age. From experimenting with friends’ hair to mastering techniques from magazines, my journey began in 1993 at Minx in Newton Abbot at 15 years old. 
 
The Training Years
Seeking formal education and training at South Devon College. I embarked on a journey of apprenticeship and learnt under seasoned mentors. Through countless hours of practice and dedication, I honed my skills, mastering the intricacies of cutting, styling, and colouring hair.
 
The Salon Years
Entering the bustling world of salons, I found my home behind the chair, where I connected with clients from all walks of life. With each client, I not only crafted hairstyles but also built lasting relationships, becoming a trusted confidant and stylist.
 
Embracing Trends and Innovation
As the industry evolved, so did my approach to hairdressing. I eagerly embraced new trends, techniques, and technologies, staying at the forefront of innovation while maintaining my signature style and expertise. After 16 years in the UK, I embarked on an adventure travelling overseas to the beautiful island of Grand Cayman for 6 years. 
 
Building a Brand
Driven by ambition and entrepreneurial spirit, back in the UK, I  ventured into building my own brand, establishing a mobile hairdressing business that reflected my values of creativity, quality, and customer care. Through strategic marketing and word-of-mouth, I have cultivated a loyal clientele and a sterling reputation.
 
Legacy and Reflection
Now I have celebrated three decades in the hairdressing industry, I feel it’s time to reflect on the journey that has shaped me into the artist and professional I am today. With gratitude for the experiences, challenges, and triumphs along the way, I look forward to many more years of creativity and inspiration.
